TARGA is one company with three arms. Targa Watches was founded in Copenhagen in 2021 and designs seven collections, sold through a deliberately small network of authorised dealers. TRANSCRIPT.YOU turns recorded speech into accurate, structured text you can search and edit. ASKAI.FREE is a free assistant for everyday questions, writing and research. A watch brand and two AI tools look like unrelated businesses; what joins them is the standard all three are measured against.
Watch design does not tolerate approximation. A dial either reads at a glance or it does not, and a case either protects the movement inside it or it fails. We carried that habit into software, because accuracy in a transcript is the same problem in another material. Both are judged against an outside standard rather than an opinion. It is the thread running through our essays on the philosophy of precision.
So one measure applies across all three arms. A product must do what we say it does, last as long as we imply, and be explained plainly enough that you can check the claim. That is why we publish the TARGA Journal, where much of the writing sells nothing at all. It is also why a person answers when you write to us, whether the question concerns a bracelet, a transcript or a prompt. The work is never quite finished.
